Eric D'Alessandro Miami Gardens Concert reviews
Disappointing
The show was disappointing, although Eric D'Alessandro is so talented. The doors at The Midland in KC were late opening, and when we finally got into the theatre, the show had already begun. The documentary of the recording of his new album served as the "opening act". Until 40 minutes before the show, the documentary was playing, with a planned 20-minute break before the show. Surprisingly, the break was unnecessary, as people were already moving around, getting drinks, etc. John and his band took the stage after a nearly 40-minute break. The music was good, but we were hoping to hear the familiar John Cougar songs. During the second set of the concert (which consists of 3 sets of 40 minutes each), John mentioned he wasn't very nostalgic, implying he wouldn't perform many of his well-known songs. It seemed like he was more focused on promoting his new album. If you're interested in hearing his new material, then this concert is perfect for you. Otherwise, you might want to save your money to avoid being disappointed.
